SAPD and Crime Stoppers are looking for leads and a suspect in the murder of a 27-year-old woman Rayne Elaine Rice

The public’s help is needed to find the individual responsible for the murder of a 27-year-old woman back in December, according to the San Antonio Police Department and Crime Stoppers.

Rayne, Elaine Rice was shot and killed on December 17, 2022, at approximately 5:40 p.m. while a passenger was in a car heading west on Interstate 10.

According to police, someone pulled out a revolver and fired while Rice’s car was at the Colorado Street offramp, just before the upper and lower level split near downtown.

The suspect car is reportedly an SUV with a dark hue, according to SAPD. At South Flores Street, it was spotted driving west on Cesar E. Chavez Boulevard.
