Cedric Skinner, a previous Oberlin employee, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, July 15, 2022. The anguish surrounding his untimely death has not been made public.

The deceased was a standout football player in Southwest Louisiana. Cedric and his team reached the semifinals in 2010 before going on to play three seasons of football at Grambling State University.
