In college, it was one of my top favorite things to do. You were the total center of my universe, and one of my greatest joys during my time at university was seeing the smile on your face as you laughed at some of my more ridiculous antics.

Regarding Jank, I will always be proud of the increased vocabulary and the fashion in which I can now utilize “op” (long before it became trendy), both of which you bestowed to me on a senior night. I will always be proud of the fact that I can now use “op” in a way that I can now use it. Just pondering the possibility of this makes me laugh out loud. My deepest condolences go out to Desmond’s family in addition to my own SEMO family during this difficult time. My God. My thoughts and prayers are with his family in particular, as well as with our Chicago Med @nbconechicago family and the Chicago theater community in general at this time.

He was a wonderful friend, an extraordinary talent, and a shining example that others should strive to emulate. I hope and pray that you attain heavenly glory and that you experience the peace that passes all understanding. I have no doubt that right this moment you are rejoicing along with the angels.
