Airmiess Joseph Asghedom, known professionally as Nipsey Hussle was an American rapper, entrepreneur, and activist. Nipsey Hussle was on the fast edge of rising to fame until it was cut short when he was assassinated on March 31, 2019,  in Los Angeles, California, United States by Eric Holder, a man believed to have been his friend who confronted Hussle earlier that day.

Holder was arrested and charged with murder two days later and was found guilty of first-degree murder on July 6, 2022. On February 22, 2023, Holder was sentenced to 60 years of life in prison.

Nipsey Hussle parents: Meet Dawit Asghedom, Angelique Smith

Airmiess Joseph Asghedom was born on August 15, 1985, and raised in the Crenshaw District of South Central Los Angeles to parents Angelique Smith (née Boutte) and Dawit Asghedom.

His mother is an African-American woman, and his father, an Eritrean war refugee who came to the United States after fleeing a then ongoing Eritrean War of Independence.

Both his parents were very supportive of his career and have always supported him in hi everyday life.

Nipsey Hussle was not the only child of his parents, he had two other siblings, his brother Samiel a/k/a Blacc Sam and his sister Samantha. Both his siblings are continuing the fight for their late brotehr’s legal custody case for his daughter Emani Asghedom.

Aslo, according to reports gathered, Nipsey Hussle’s brother Samiel was named the legal proprietor of all of Nipsey Hussle estate and wealth.
