One source tells HollywoodLife that ‘Friends are concerned Nicki may not get a prenup before marrying Kenneth Petty and they hope she makes the right choice to protect her assets. They know Nicki is head over heels in love with Kenneth and they’re worried love may be so blind that she is not even considering what may happen if they split.’

They mentioned that ‘Nicki has a lot to lose and they support her following her heart and marrying him. But they also just want to make sure she is being smart about it and fully thinking things through before taking the leap.’

As fans know, Nicki and Kenneth, who were teen sweethearts, reunited last year and their relationship escalated really fast.

It seems like they are just as crazy over one another as they were in their teenage years.

For the past nine months, their romance has just gotten stronger and stronger.

But that doesn’t mean some of Nicki’s fans don’t think Kenneth is with her for the money and fame.

This is something Minaj actually addressed on Queen Radio, telling her audience that he’s loved her when she was broke and unknown as well.
