American actor Ned Eisenberg has passed away. He died on either Saturday, February 26, 2022, or Sunday, February 27, 2022. He was 65.

Eisenberg is known for his roles in Hollywood blockbusters; Law & Order: SVU and Mare of Easttown.

He played Detective Hauser in the HBO drama “Mare of Easttown” alongside Kate Winslet.

Furthermore, his work as defense attorney Roger Kressler in “Law & Order” and “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit” made him one of the series’ most regular supporting characters.

Ned Eisenberg died after a battle with two rare cancers known as cholangiocarcinoma and ocular melanoma, his wife told TMZ.

Confirming the news, Ned’s wife Patricia disclosed in a statement that: “As Ned would say, he was attacked by two very rare assassins — cholangiocarcinoma and ocular melanoma.”

She further disclosed that: “Over the course of two years, he bravely fought the cancers in private while continuing to work in show business to ensure that his medical coverage paid for himself and his family.”
