Nate Vaughan of Sussex County, New Jersey Passes Away
Samuel Coleman On Wednesday, November 16, 2022, in Frankford Twp., New Jersey, 16-year-old Nathaniel J. Nate Vaughan passed away. An NJ native who was born in Morristown After spending his childhood in Sussex Borough, Nate and his family settled on a farm in Frankford Twp.
He is a diesel mechanic majoring student at Sussex County Technical School and was recently inducted into the National Honors Society. An accomplished farmer who has worked the land in his family for generations, he belonged to the Top of New Jersey Beef 4-H Club and the Wantage Hustler 4-H Dairy Club. Not only did he enjoy fishing, but he was also a skilled technician who took pleasure in ensuring that all the agricultural machinery was in top working order.
Nate attended services at the Wesleyan Church in Sussex, New Jersey, and he also did part-time employment at the Quick Check in Frankford Twp. Both Nathaniel’s brother Samuel P. and his paternal grandmother, Hollie K. (née Lincoln) Vaughan, passed away in 2012. His brothers Liam J. and Eligh W. Vaughan, both of Frankford Twp., and his parents, Pastor William P. and Bobbie-Jo A. (née Becker), are among his surviving family members. His maternal grandparents William and Missy O’Donnell of Newton, NJ and his paternal grandfather Jon W. Vaughan of Lafayette, NJ are still alive and well.
The Iliff-Ruggiero Funeral Home, 156 Main Street (Route 206 South), Newton, New Jersey 07860, will host a viewing on Tuesday, November 22, 2022, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 o’clock in the evening. On Wednesday, November 23, 2022, at 2 PM, funeral services will be place at the Lafayette Federated Church, 180 NJ Rt. 15, Lafayette, NJ 07848.
