Singer Monica recently took to social media where she announced a piece of heartbreaking news — her beloved uncle, Larry, had passed away.

The R&B diva and current star on the reality show, T.I. & Tiny: Friends and Family Hustle, put together a memorial service that was beyond beautiful and moving.

Monica had a team create black roses, personalized masks, and gloves for the somber occasion.

She shared numerous photos from the sad gathering where she was wearing haute couture and being her elegant self.

She explained: “Honoring a Special Man in A Special Way… I’m grateful that My Aunt Mary allowed Melinda & I to create a fitting memorial for one of the greatest men we’ve ever known! 🖤 Thank you to those that assisted in us safely celebrating his life. We socially distanced & issued personalized masks & gloves to ensure the safety of our loved ones … I pray you’re Proud, Uncle Larry…… Thank You.”

She added: “I never said your name without “Favorite Uncle” in front of it… Uncle Larry, I’m SHATTERED … It’s like someone’s stopped air from flowing freely through my body … I’m praying & asking God to take this anger away from me… Believing that he will do just that… To the man that took your life, I understand it was an accident … Yet I’m struggling. You took a piece of me, a bit of my mother and children! I don’t understand the devastation we’re experiencing right now, but I do know that your love lives within me!!”

Tiny Harris and La La Anothy reached out with words of kindness along with many other fans.
