THE grandmother of two-year-old Wynter Cole Smith has expressed her heartbreak as cops hunt for the missing girl.

Michigan cops are still searching for two-year-old Wynter Cole Smith after arresting Rashad Trice, who remains in custody, for suspected kidnapping and the stabbing of Wynter’s mother.

“We felt like we needed to do something,” Sharen Eddings, Wynter’s grandmother, told The Detroit News. “It’s been an emotional rollercoaster for us.”

Eddings said the family still has “faith” that Wynter will be safely returned home.

Anyone with information on Wynter’s whereabouts is asked to submit tips to  call 1-800-CALL-FBI.
