Leah Croucher, 19, went missing in Milton Keynes more than three and a half years ago, leaving the Croucher family to deal with a double tragedy.Haydon, Leah’s older brother, committed suicide after confessing to a therapist that he was having trouble coming to terms with his sister’s disappearance and had become preoccupied on hanging himself.Nine months after Leah vanished, Haydon, 24, was discovered hanged in his Bletchley apartment by his mother Tracey Furness and sister Jade. He later passed away at a hospital.Sadly, Leah vanished on February 15, 2019. She had been seen leaving Milton Keynes for work that morning on foot. After she failed to come home, her parents John and Claire filed a missing person’s report.According to Thames Valley Police, detectives have now opened a murder inquiry after discovering human remains while looking for Leah.The remains were discovered in a detached four-bedroom house on Loxbeare Drive in the city’s Furzton neighborhood. In the house, Leah’s backpack and other personal items were also found.After admitting to his therapist that he was having trouble with his sister’s disappearance, Haydon hanged himself.His therapist Chantelle Tillison transported the 24-year-old patient to Milton Keynes Hospital so that he might be evaluated for admission. However, he was sent home because there were no beds available.In November 2019, his apartment in Bletchley was discovered to be hanging.
