Michael Chandler is an American professional mixed martial artist who currently competes in the lightweight division of the Ultimate Fighting Championship. Michael Chandler was born on April 24, 1986, in Nashville, Tennessee. He is commonly referred to as Iron.

Michael Chandler commenced his career in 2009 and by 2010, he has commenced competing for Bellator MMA. He is a three-time Bellator Lightweight Champion and the winner of the Bellator Season Four Lightweight Tournament.

Michael Chandler has since been challenged for the UFC Lightweight Championship. He has knocked out top contender Dan Hooker.
