Mia Wasikowska was born in Canberra, Australia, to John Reid and Marzena Wasikowska. Her parents were also photographers. Her family relocated to Poland for a year when she was eight years old to work on her mother’s photographic project. Mia and her siblings, elder sister Jess and younger brother Kai, acted as models for this project. Wasikowska inherited her parents’ passion for photography. She still takes good photos with her Rolleiflex camera.
