Merri Dee, born Marry Francine Dorham was a known American humanitarian and TV columnist who was famous for her works at Illinois TV slot and public link superstation WGN-TV. She was born in Chicago on October 30, 1936, and survived to Chicago on March 16, 2022, when she passed.

Her folks used to work this way and that among Chicago and New Orleans even before she was born and two years after she was born, her mom died. Merri’s father remarried four years after the passing of his better half yet her stepmother mishandled her and sent her to a halfway house to be raised there.
