Todd Anthony Bridges is an American actor and comedian best known for his eight-year stint as Willis Jackson in the hit TV sitcom ‘Diff’rent Strokes.’ 

He debuted in the entertainment industry as a four-year old model for a magazine advertisement. 

He made his acting debut in a commercial with his family when he was nine years old. 

The brief role led to more acting opportunities, including appearances on the TV show  ‘Barney Miller’ and in the film ‘Katherine.’ 

However, he, like many other child performers, had run-ins with the authorities as a child. 

As a young man, he became engaged with drugs and weaponry, which had an impact on  his career.

His life changed when he converted to Christianity and established the Todd Bridges Youth Foundation.

He subsequently authored the book ‘Killing Willis,’ and appeared on The Oprah Winfrey  Show to describe his acting career, drug addiction, and legal troubles.
