Maui Chapman is best known as the ex-wife of famous American bail bondsman and “Dog the Bounty Hunter” star, Leland Chapman.

Maui Chapman was born in Kailua, Hawaii in 1957. Maui Chapman has been very successful in keeping a very low profile and as a result, there’s no information about her parents and siblings (if any).

Maui Chapman met Leland Chapman during the early 1990’s and after dating for a while, they got married in 1995. Maui Chapman’s marriage to Leland Chapman is what shot her into the limelight as her husband Leland Chapman was the lead actor of the TV show, Dog the Bounty Hunter. Maui Chapman appeared as a guest in two episodes of Dog the Bounty Hunter – Father and Son (2004) and Brother’s Keeper (2005). Maui Chapman has two children; Cobie and Dakota (a step-son).

However, Maui Chapman’s marriage with Leland Chapman hit the rocks after over 10 years of marriage. The marriage began to crumble after Leland Chapman was arrested and jailed. It is also believed that Leland Chapman was involved in an extra-marital affair. It was of little surprise that after Leland got out of prison, he began dating another woman. Maui and Leland Chapman broke up in 2002 but had their divorce formalized on 21 April, 2005.

After her divorce with Leland Chapman, Maui Chapman moved away from the spotlight and it is very much unclear whether she has remarried.
