The victim of a teen boy’s suspected murder, a 15-year-old female, was named by the Weld County Coroner’s Office on Wednesday.

Greeley resident Lily Silva Lopez was fatally murdered on Friday in the 400 block of 35th Avenue. Around 3:44 pm on Friday, police were called to the scene of the incident. On the spot, Lopez was determined to be dead.

Police located and promptly detained a male juvenile suspect they had identified. He was transferred to a juvenile detention center after being charged with felony homicide, breaking and entering, and aggravated robbery. Due to his age, police won’t publish the suspect’s name or photo.

Police are still looking into the shooting.
