Leandro Daniel Paredes, an Argentine professional football player who now plays defensive midfield for Serie A club Juventus while on loan from Ligue 1 club Paris Saint-Germain, was born on June 29, 1994. He also plays for the Argentina national team.

On November 6, 2010, Paredes made his league debut for Boca Juniors in a 2-0 away defeat to Argentinos Juniors. On January 29, 2014, he joined the Italian Serie A club Chievo Verona for the remainder of the 2013-14 season. Roma agreed to sign Paredes from Boca Juniors on loan for a reported €4.5 million, but Roma ran out of non-EU registration quota for international transfers. Instead, Chievo signed him. Paredes joined Roma on a temporary basis on July 19, 2014, with the option to buy outright from Boca Juniors. Paredes made his Roma debut on September 27, 2014, as a second-half substitute in a 2-0 win over Hellas Verona. Paredes scored his first goal for Roma in the club’s 2-1 victory over Cagliari on February 8, 2015. Roma signed Paredes for €6.067 million in June 2015.
