While former U.S. president Donald Trump has added Disney to his list of things that need transformation and can only be saved by him and him alone, Mrs. DeSantis’ latest appearance inadvertently makes her husband look bad in his crusade against the company.

Thus, it is not exactly surprising that after erasing an acclaimed Marvel series out of the blue (while keeping a total disappointment), Disney Plus went after another original. 

No, it is more ironic than surprising as the show in question is its docuseries Prop Culture, which was all about preserving and cherishing props and company-branded media.

After vehemently claiming that he can end Russia’s invasion of Ukraine in 24 hours and stressing that he is the only one who can stop World War 3 that will definitely happen, Trump is now not-so-subtly hinting that he knows how to make Disney great again. 

While the former president has supported the company in the past, he is catching on to how the Republicans view the organization. But as mindlessly targeting Disney would mean siding with his opponent DeSantis, Trump has decided to instead claim the Florida Governor is “destroying Disney” by letting the company become so “woke” and how it is still so very easy to get it back on track.
