She is currently locked up at Mabel Bassett Correctional Center, McLoud Oklahoma. It is a women’s facility, which she joined in 1995. Barker was charged with first-degree murder and life in prison without parole. Her attorney filed a conviction on August 13, 2020, for a motion to vacate her, followed by several post-conviction relief applications in 2018 and 2019.
