Khloe Kardashian is still dealing with the raw emotions of splitting with her baby daddy Tristan Thompson. The ‘Keeping Up With the Kardashians’ star addressed her cordial co-parenting situation on Laura Wasser’s ‘Divorce Sucks!’ podcast.

As you probably already know, Tristan and Khloe have had relationship problems since it was revealed that he had been cheating on Khloe with at least five different women while she was pregnant. The latest scandal to rock the parents was when Tristan got caught tonguing down family friend Jordyn Woods; however, it’s rumored that they split months before the internet breaking scandal.

The reality star stopped by to chat with her friend on the audio program where she opened up on why she still makes the best of her time with Tristan although they are no longer together.

“But, I do everything in my power to not even bring…True is 1 and like a month old, so she doesn’t really know what’s happening, but to me she does know and she feels energy and I’m a big believer of that, so I do everything in my power to not put any sort of heavy energy around her. Maybe that sounds a little too like bohemian to some people.”

She also explained why she invited Thompson to True’s 1st birthday party.

“I didn’t do it because I thought she was going to remember this first party. It was really for me. I just wanted a happy, heavenly place, but I know that she’s gonna wanna look back at all of her childhood memories like we all do…me and my sisters, we will sit on the floor looking at our old photo albums.”

As positive as she is being about the situation at hand, the ‘KUWK’ star isn’t holding back on how much it sucks to be in her position.

“It does f******. It does and there’s moments that because our personal emotions are still in there and for me, you know, Tristan and I broke up not too long ago, so it’s really raw and so those emotions could be heightened at times.”

It’s important that Khloe is real about her breakup with Tristan to show people in her same situation that it is possible to be amiable around someone you are raising a child with even when the romantic part of the relationship didn’t work out.
