It looks like Kevin Hart is doing much better following his scary car accident that nearly took his life. As fans know, the actor and comedian has been recovering ever since and it really seems like it all paid off.

After all, Kevin Hart was in attendance at the People’s Choice Awards and he looked really strong and healthy all things considered.

The huge awards show last night marks Kevin’s very first public appearance ever since the accident that almost killed him.

But he was not there just to give fans an update on his health and wellbeing but because he was nominated and actually won the Favorite Comedy Act award!

As he stepped on stage to accept his trophy and deliver his acceptance speech, the audience gave him a standing ovation.

Hart had some inspirational words to say: ‘First and foremost, I thank God, because I definitely do not have to be here. Being that I am, it just makes me appreciate life even more. It makes me appreciate the things that actually really matter. I want to thank my wife and my kids. They all stepped up to the plate for me.’

He also showed his gratitude towards his fans, as well as the public in general for making many artists’ dreams come true with their support.

‘You have no idea the effect that you really have on us entertainers. Your energy, support, it means the world [to us] and I want to thank you all for being here for me in my difficult time. This is special,’ Kevin went on to say.
