American actor and stunt coordinator Ke Huy Quan, commonly known as Jonathan Ke Quan, was born in Vietnam on August 20, 1971. In 1984’s Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom and The Goonies, Quan portrayed Short Round and Data, respectively (1985).

He had appearances in the movies Encino Man and the sitcom Head of the Class before stopping acting due to a lack of possibilities and earning a film degree from the USC School of Cinematic Arts. He later worked as an assistant director and stunt coordinator.
