The deceased motorcyclist in a deadly incident that happened in Columbiana County, Ohio, on Sunday afternoon has been named as Joseph Balistrieri of Sewickley, Pennsylvania.

In Center Township on Sunday afternoon, a single-vehicle motorbike accident claimed the life of Joey Balistrieri, 42.

Reports state that around 3 p.m. on Sunday, Balistrieri was riding a Harley Davidson motorcycle on OH-172 in Center Township when it left the road for an unexplained cause. The rider was then thrown after the bike overturned.

Balistrieri was sent to a local hospital, where he was later identified as having suffered blunt force trauma and had died.

Investigations into what caused the accident are still ongoing.
