The 29-year-old man who passed away following a shooting in East Hempfield Township on Saturday morning has been named by the Lancaster County Coroner’s Office.

Jordan Scott, a Lancaster resident, was the victim, according to coroner Dr. Stephen Diamantoni. Scott’s cause and manner of death have not yet been established, according to Diamantoni.

East Hempfield Township police were called to the 2900 block of Terry Lane on Saturday just after 11:30 a.m. for a report of a shooting. Scott was sent to a nearby hospital.
