Did Angelina Jolie and Johnny Depp have an affair while filming their 2010 movie The Tourist? Many people have wondered if the co-stars took their on-screen chemistry into their real life and now they may finally have an answer. Johnny Depp is in the fight for his life, his career, and everything he has ever worked for since his contentious divorce from Amber Heard and subsequent lawsuits. Depp lost a defamation case with U.K.’s The Sun that is currently on appeal and he has a second lawsuit for $50 million against Amber Heard for defamation. It is in this lawsuit, which is set for trial in early 2021, where his relationship with Angelina Jolie will surface.

According to a report by The Hollywood Reporter (THR), Johnny Depp will be forced to reveal all responsive communications by his former female co-stars that include, but are not limited to, Angelina Jolie. Other female co-stars that THR referred to include Keira Knightley and Marion Cotillard.

The Hollywood Reporter stated the following in their piece titled: ‘He’s Radioactive — Inside Johnny Depp’s Self-Made Implosion.’

What’s remarkable is that Depp is about to embark on the same mission with his $50 million defamation suit against Heard in Virginia. The process will likely be even more intrusive and end up sucking other high-profile figures into the vortex. (Depp is obligated to produce “all responsive communications” with former romantic partners including Angelina Jolie, Keira Knightley, and Marion Cotillard.) His odds are even worse than they were in the Sun suit because, unlike the U.K. case, the burden of proof will be on Depp. The case is expected to go to trial in early 2021.

It is unclear why THR referred to Depp’s former female co-stars as “romantic partners” but the public may soon find out! Any texts or DMs will be subpoenaed for the case and produced as evidence working either for or against Johnny Depp.
