John Legend and Chrissy Teigen are one of the most admired couples in Hollywood. The two are adored for their love for each other which they are not afraid of flaunting in public. They are also known for their brutal honesty in terms of their relationship. When speaking about their relationship in public the two are always honest about the good and the bad of their life with each other.

Most recently, John Legend has admitted that while he and his wife share a very strong and healthy bond now, in the starting of their relationship, John was rather selfish in his approach and he learned to stop being that way.

On October 17, he appeared on the “On Purpose with Jay Shetty” podcast and said, “When you stop being so selfish, when you think about not only the joy you get from a situation and the pleasure you get from it, but also think about your responsibility and your commitment in that situation. You just grow, and you mature.”

He added,  “Part of it is it’s just a matter of time. You need time to become that person you want to be.”

John Legend and Chrissy Teigen share 2 children between them and Chrissy is currently pregnant with the third. The two have been through some tough times together as only a little while ago, Chrissy suffered a misscarriage. The two have been very open about how difficult the time was for both of them and how they helped each other get through it.

Chrissy has admitted that the experience of the misscarriage still haunts her and at every doctor’s visit she is nervous and hopes that the doctor does not give her any bad news but she is learning to grow beyond it.
