John Gotti, an American organized crime boss, was born on October 27, 1940, in the South Bronx, New York, United States. His flashy lifestyle and repeated public trials made him a popular figure in the 1980s and 1990s.

Gotti was the fifth of thirteen children born to John and Fannie Gotti, both of whom were immigrants from Italy.

Gotti rose through the ranks of a small gang in Brooklyn’s East New York neighborhood as a youngster, and he became associated with the Gambino family, which controlled one of the city’s greatest organized crime syndicates.

He had numerous run-ins with the law after dropping out of high school and was jailed nine times between the ages of 18 and 26 for petty offenses.

In a bar, John Gotti and his wife Victoria Digiorgio met. Angel, their daughter, was born in 1961. Victoria is the name of their second daughter, who is a Hollywood actress. Frank, Digiorgio’s 12-year-old son, died in March 1980.

John Favara, her inebriated next-door neighbor, drove over the youngster on the street when he was riding a mini-bike.

The cause of Frank’s death was determined to be unintentional. Favara, on the other hand, vanished without a trace four months later.

Witnesses stated they observed Favara being struck in the head with a club before being put into a van that fled the scene, and he was later presumed dead.

The event occurred while Gotti and his family were on vacation in Florida, and while some reports believe that Gotti orchestrated the kidnapping, he claims that he had no involvement in Favara’s disappearance.
