An unfortunate incident or news coming from DR Congo is that their national team player Jody Lukoki had died at the age of 29.

Jody Lukoki was a Congolese-Dutch professional footballer who lastly played as a winger for FC Twente and DR Congo until his death on may 9yh, 2022.

Jody Lukoki had also played with Ajax Fc in the Nerthalend before switching to play for FC Twente on a two-year deal in June 2021. He has played professionally for PEC Zwolle, Ludogorets, and Yeni Malatyaspor.
