Jeneka Lancaster Dies in a car accident Kennard Indiana, Tri High School student
Robert Clark In western Henry County, a single-vehicle collision claimed the life of a teenager on Monday night.
15-year-old Tri Jr. Sr. High School student Jeneka Lancaster was declared dead at the scene of the collision in the 4000 block of South Kennard Road.
A 2008 Chevrolet Cobalt, being driven by a teenager from New Castle, reportedly off the road, ran into a field, and overturned onto its driver’s side while traveling north on Kennard Road close to Henry County Road 450-S.

The victim, who was apparently not wearing a seat belt, was in the Cobalt’s back seat. She was beyond the ability of rescuers to revive.
Investigators determined that the injuries sustained by the driver and the front-seat passenger were not life-threatening. Around 9:50 p.m., the accident was reported to emergency dispatchers.
Investigations into the incident are still ongoing.
