Joe Beaver is an eight-time winner of the Calf roping World Championships, as mentioned by the Rodeo Hall Of Fame on Wikipedia. 

Joe Beaver, the champion has been recognized for the NFR 18 times in calf roping and four times in team roping over the course of his 25-year career.

After his time he has his disciple who has made him proud of his teaching. The 2020 Texas Circuit Finals Champion John Douch has been ranked 15th in the PRCA World Standings.

The Texas cowboy won six rodeos in 2021, with the two highest-paying events taking place in August.

Who Is Joe Beaver? Wikipedia And Age Of The Rodeo

Joe Beaver is a 56 years old, eight-time world champion in Calf Roping World Championships.

He was first introduced to rodeo by his mother at the age of 8. After that, he began to follow rodeo every weekend and joined the wolves den of the open ropings at the age of 15. Soon after the starting of his career, he began to show his charm in the ropings.

Joe was crowned Calf Roping Rookie of the Year and World Champion for the first time when he was 20 years old. Joe won Calf Roping World Championships in both the years 1987 and 1988. 

Joe was also honored with gold medals in Calgary at the 1988 Olympic Rodeo.

He won 7 out of his 8 world champions trophies in the 90s including the Calf Roping World Title, in 1992 and 1993, All-Around World Championship in 1995, and All-Around Cowboy Champion again in 1996. 

Those who have followed tie-down roping for the past few years knew it was only a matter of time before Joe Beaver disciple and 2020 Texas Circuit Finals Champion John Douch punched his ticket to Las Vegas.

Joe received the World Champion All-Around title for the second time at the beginning of the new millennium, 2000. He was 35 years old at that time. 

Joe Beaver Small Family With Wife Jenna Beaver And Son Broody

Joe’s wife Jenna was a barrel racer and the owner of Frameworks and Art Gallery in Huntsville, Texas. He also had a son from his wife named, Joseph Broderick Beaver, commonly known as Broody. 

Broody was like the shadow of his father. He graduated from Huntsville High School in 2009 when he won the cutting horse Title in National HIgh Schol Finals Rodeo.  

He won the championship while riding Ali, a 14-year-old brown horse in Farmington, New Mexico. Broody was awarded a saddle, a buckle, along with a scholarship to Weatherford College.

He was qualified for the National High School Finals Rodeo from 2008 to 2009. In addition, he has also appeared in the 2002 film “Grand Champion,” alongside George Strait, Joey Lauren Adams, and Emma Roberts.

However, the person with such abilities died relatively quickly.

How Did Joe Beaver’s Son Die? 

Joe Beaver, an eight-time World Champion Cowboy, and his wife, Jenna, lost their only child on August 24, 2011.

Broody was just 20 at the time of his death. And the cause of the death was reported to be a self-inflicted gunshot, however, it has not been confirmed. 

He was just starting out as a cutting horse rider, and he had yet to taste victory. He would have been a wonderful cutting champion at this phase. 

Broody friends describe him as a fun-loving person who is always looking for ways to make the people around him happy.
