On October 15, 2011, Craig Melvin got married to the then-ESPN sports anchor, Lindsay Czarniak in Washington. They have two children; a son Delano, who was born in 2014, and a daughter Sybil, who was born in 2016.

Czarniak is the daughter of Chet and Terri Czarniak.

Her father, Chet is the current managing director of usatoday.com. Prior to his current role, Chet put in 17 years at the sports department of a local newspaper. Terri is a former principal at Rose Hill Elementary School.

Czarniak had a brief stint in acting, she had a brief appearance in the 2000 independent action film Aquarius. She also made a cameo appearance in the film Ghosts Don’t Exist i 2009.

Currently, she works for Fox Sports as a studio host for NASCAR coverage and a sideline reporter for NFL games.
