Olivia House Dino Danelli, the Rascals’ drummer from the 1960s, has passed away.
He was 78
On December 15, Danelli’s publicist Joe Russo posted on Danelli’s Facebook page that he had passed away.
“Today, our dear Dino passed away. I shall talk more about his extraordinary talent and the life stories he told me, as well as the times we spent together as friends and collaborators, in the near future “the declaration started.

Gene Cornish, a friend of Danelli and the guitarist for the Rascals, expressed his sorrow to followers on social media by saying, “I must break your hearts by informing you of Dino Danelli’s loss. He was the best drummer I’ve ever seen and he was my brother. I am currently in a terrible state. Dino, rest in peace. Brother, you are loved.”
Cornish expressed gratitude to the public for their support during this trying period in a different post.
As most of you already know, Dino was a very private person. I wish I could answer all of your questions, he continued. “I will say that Dino never gave a damn about being a “rock star,” instead, for him, it was all about the music and the art. To him, everything else was just window decoration.”
