Samuel Coleman We announce Hannah Rae Levy’s untimely departure on July 3, 2023, at the young age of 33, with great sadness.
Hannah spent her entire life in the D.C. metro region, a city she enjoyed and where she had a profound personal and professional effect.
Hannah Gruhin, Andy Gruhin’s devoted wife, recently realised her dream of giving birth to Bobby Indigo Gruhin. Hannah is survived by her parents, Stephen Levy and Lois Zuckerman, her sister Nora Gorenstein (also a Levy), her brother-in-law Eric Gorenstein, and her nieces Sofia and Jackie in addition to her husband and son. Hannah frequently referred to her grandmother (GG) Estelle Zuckerman as her best friend, and she is also survived by her.
Hannah’s in-laws include her mother-in-law Susan Bierman, her father-in-law Mark Gruhin, her sister-in-law Sami Gruhin, and her brother-in-law Alex Gruhin, his wife Ariel, and their daughter Daphne. She is also survived by her in-laws on her husband’s side.
Hannah was a valuable employee at the public affairs firm Beekeeper Group in Washington, D.C. She was a successful professional. Hannah began working for the company as the first intern in 2010, and with her commitment, effort, and forward-thinking attitude, she advanced to the position of Partner. Her contributions have had a lasting impact on the corporation and were crucial in determining its operations and direction.

Hannah was also a key figure in the field of public affairs as a whole. She oversaw Beekeeper Group’s annual Buzz Advocacy Summit, the influential industry programme Advocacy Leaders Network, and The Advocacy Association’s Board of Directors. She was also involved with Public Affairs Council and Women in Government Relations.
