Ochoa was born Francisco Guillermo Ochoa Magana on July 13, 1985, in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico.
Career
Guillermo Ochoa began his football career with Club América in 2004. He went on loan to San Luis in 2004 and returned to Club América where he won the league title in 2005 and was thebclub’s first choice Goalkeeper until 2011, while making over 200 appearances for the club.
He signed for the Grench club, Ajaccio on 2011 and had three seasons with the club until their relegation from ligue 1.
He joined Malaga in 2014 but failed to make an impact. He joined Granada on loan in 2016 and moved to Standard Liege in 2017, before returning to Club América in 2019.
He represented Mexico at the under-13 before being called up for the senior team. He was part of the team at the 2022 FIFA World Cup. He saved Lewandowski’s penalty in their first match against Poland which ended 0-0 draw at the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.

Ochoa got married to his wife Karla Mora on July 8, 2017, in Ibiza, Spain. The couple has three children together, two daughters and a son. The two began dating in 2009 after Ochoa moved to France.
