The man who was shot and killed in McKeesport on March 3rd has been named by the Allegheny County medical examiner.

Shortly after 5:45 p.m., Robert “Bob” Moore, 58, was wounded in the 1200 block of Park Street.

Moore was taken to the hospital, where doctors declared him deceased, according to the police.

Moore was referred to as their “base” by his family.

Moore’s daughter Clarissa said, “My dad should still be here because he was just walking into our house, and I don’t comprehend it. And I believe we will ponder how it could have occurred there for a considerable amount of time.

According to Clarissa, her father was a born caregiver who was always ready to lend a hand to anyone, whether he knew them or not.

My father was a doctor, and for a very long time, that was his greatest pleasure in life, said Clarissa Moore. “He cherished providing for others. And he did that without a doubt, as if he always did it for everyone.”

He is recalled as a devoted husband, father, and grandfather to his wife and their four children. According to Clarissa Moore, her father brought up her mother from work on Friday evening. Just after 5:30 p.m., the two were getting home when gunfire broke out.

The McKeesport neighborhood has been shaken by the shooting on Friday. Last week, Moore’s shooting fatality was the fourth in three days.

Additionally, on Versailles Avenue last Wednesday, 47-year-old Robert Joyner was critically shot.
