Fred Hammond has two kids Breeann Hammond and Darius Hammond. Fred Hammond and his ex-wife Kim Hammond have a daughter BreeAnn Hammond and Son Darius Hammond.

Fred Hammond Family

Fred Hammond’s family includes his parents and his siblings. He grew up around Church going culture, his parents were religious and supported the Hammond boys’ interest in choir and gospel music.

Hammond after the completion of high school, went to join the army with his friend Mitchell Jones. But, after high school duo had plans to pursue music, thus both of them sought after that plan, Fred joined a gospel music group called “The Winans.”

Fred Hammond’s dad was Ray Hammond and his mother was Mildred Hammond. They were diligent working-class individuals who were religious in nature and often went to church.

Ray passed away sooner than his wife Mildred, but his compassion and positive attitude towards life had transferred to his son, who created the best Gospel music through such inspiration. 

Moreover, Fred’s mom passed away in 2007 after her battle with cancer, she died at the age of 72. She was a quiet but integral inspiration who aided to her children’s ministry. 

Mildred was a pillar of strength who passed unshakeable faith to their children so that to carry similar resolve and light up the world with their music. 

Fred Hammond Siblings

Hammond’s siblings are Ray Hammond and Dave Hammond. Ray is named after his father and he is also called Ray Junior. 

Ray Hammond is a grammy award-winning producer, who produced the tracks of his brother for the album titled “Free to Worship,” album won Best Contemporary R&B Gospel Album.

Hammond and his wife were married for 18 years. They married when they were quite young, and Fred was starting out in his career.  They have two children BreeAnn Hammond and Darius Hammond.  

They had a good relationship and healthy marriage, but their marriage turned South after Fred and Kim were not able to move forward with their marital commitments. 

Fred and Kim had an amicable divorce, they continued to stay in touch with each other. Kim began teaching and volunteering at churches and focused on healing herself.

Hammond’s divorce from Kim happened in 2004. Kim married her second husband, she was also blessed with a son with her second partner. During the period of their marriage, she began teaching GPISD 2nd Grade. 

In addition, she was a former bookkeeper and admin to Face to Face productions. After the divorce from her second husband, she moved back to their hometown Detroit, she then started working for the admin before the pandemic. 

Kim has moved back to Dallas, Texas, where she is beginning her life again with her son. Even though it has already been a decade she seems to have a good relationship with Fred as they are on communicating terms.

Fred Hammond has two children. Fred is blessed witha daughter and a son. His daughterBreeann is the eldest child while his son Darius is the youngest.

Hammond is quite proud of his youngest who is in his late 20s. Hammond is a basketball player for school and college sports have performed in the conference of NAIA freshmen. 

Darius is a graduate of Kansas Wesleyan College, he is a 6 feet tall athlete playing for his college as well according to his Linkedin. Currently, he lives in Dallas, Texas. He also shares a good relationship with his mom as well. 

After graduating from his college, he went to NBA where he was undrafted in 2020, but the athlete has begun working in other sectors, he seems to have a Business Management degree as well.
