Eryn Toogood, 27, her 6-year-old daughter Haisley Heath, and 6-year-old Reagan Maraman died in the fire outbreak according to Bullitt County Coroner Dave Billings.

Pregnant for six months, Toogood. Reagan’s parentage as the daughter of Toogood’s lover, Billy Maraman, has been proven, according to Billings.

Around 4 a.m., the Lebanon Junction Fire Department responded to a call of a house fire off Preston Highway with help from the Southeast Bullitt Fire Department and Shepherdsville Fire.

The fire “burst out significantly more” when first responders arrived.

Billings verified that smoke inhalation was the cause of death for each victim. Firefighters claim there were no operational smoke detectors in the home, according to Chief Adam Heath. He recommended everyone to install a smoke detector if they don’t already have one.

The fire marshal is still conducting his inquiry.
