That’s a somewhat sad and bizarre story. That an elephant tramples a woman to death and then on the day of her burial, that same creature tramples the corpse of the same woman.

Mashed the poor old lady twice. The question is, what was the woman doing at the elephants domain and how did the elephant find itself at the burial ceremony of Miss Murmu, the Indian woman who went through the pain?

NY Post summarized it in their feed, ” Indian woman Maya Murmu was trampled to death by an elephant — and then attacked by the beast a second time while her family buried her”.

Murmu was 70 and old. She had lived 7 solid decades so I guess it’s safe to laugh at the comic nature of such a strange incident or it isn’t, maybe it’s plain sad that anyone will exit the world in such a manner.
