Isabella Floyd According to the Nemaha County Sheriff’s Office, Dustan Biegler dead in a plane crash.
The plane crashed about a mile south of its intended destination, the Auburn Municipal Airport, on Wednesday night.
Colton Hill, 24, of Kearney, and Dustan Biegler, 41, of Valparaiso, were discovered dead in the wreckage by attendants, according to a news release from the sheriff.
According to Lottman, the Cessna 150 was supposed to fly from Lincoln to Auburn before returning to Lincoln. However, the plane did not land in Lincoln, leading to a 911 call to Nemaha County deputies at around 11 p.m. on Wednesday.
It’s unclear if the aircraft arrived at Auburn for its planned takeoff. The identity of the plane’s pilot is also unknown.
