She received her medical degree from Wake Forest School of Medicine of Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center, completed an OBGYN residency at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, VA, and then completed a fellowship in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery at Loyola University in Maywood, IL.
