Dr Kevin Charles Pineda Passes Away Sadly in New York
Olivia House On Wednesday, November 9, 2022, at the age of 29, Dr. Kevin Charles Pineda, DO passed tragically unexpectedly. Kevin spent the majority of his time in New Milford despite being born in the Big Apple. In New Milford, he attended David Owens Middle School, from which he later graduated. Eventually, Kevin enrolled at Bergen Technical High School in Teterboro, New Jersey. In 2014, he would get a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering with a Cum Laude from the College of New Jersey. Kevin, who did his undergraduate work at The College of New Jersey, plans to earn his medical degree from Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine in Middletown, New York, in 2019. Dr. Kevin did his internship and residency at Morristown Medical Center after graduating from medical school. Dr. Kevin was a fourth-year physician resident at the Kessler Institute for Rehabilitation in West Orange.
His wife, Dr. Johana Zambrano, DO, his sister Dana-Kristie Pineda, his brothers John Paul Pineda, Jeremy Nel Pineda, and Joseph Emman Pineda, and many other family, friends, and colleagues all survive him.
Kevin was a good man who genuinely cared about the people in his life and was there for them whenever they needed someone to lean on. His friendly personality helped him form lasting bonds with many people, and the walls he helped tear down around them made them feel safe and protected.
He would be well-known for his joyful nature and sense of humor. His gentle disposition and innate capacity for empathy complemented his stellar personality and professional commitment.
Whether it was his marriage to Johana, his connection with his parents Leonilo and Grace, his sister Dana, his friends, his career as a doctor, or his friendly (but fierce) rivalry with his pals in the video game world, he always gave 110%.
When it came to his own and others’ potential, Kevin would accept nothing less. Kevin’s ability to recognize the best in his friends and family and to demand nothing less from them motivated us to improve ourselves so that we could be more like him. We were motivated to follow Kevin and realize our full potential by his indomitable character, boundless will, and boundless compassion, and we will continue to be inspired by him and his example long after he is gone. There really is no more fitting tribute to him.
