Selena Gomez & the Scene released three albums, all of which charted in the top ten on the US Billboard 200 and were certified gold by the Recording Industry Association of America: Kiss & Tell (2009), A Year Without Rain (2010), and When the Sun Goes Down (2012). 

Several of Gomez’s tracks have ranked in the top ten of the US Billboard Hot 100, including Come & Get It, The Heart Wants What It Wants, Good for You, Same Old Love, and Hands Up.

Gomez began dating Canadian singer-songwriter The Weeknd in January 2017.

They temporarily moved in together later in September but split up a month later.
