Monique Samuels is setting the record straight. The Real Housewives of Potomac star appeared on PEOPLE Now this week, opening up about rumors surrounding her marriage. On last week’s episode, Gizelle Bryant claimed that Samuels was having an inappropriate relationship with her fitness trainer.
The salutatorian of her high school class, Monique attended Duquesne University on a full academic scholarship. After a few semesters there, she realized that music was her true passion. So, she packed her bags and headed to D.C. to pursue her dreams, only to find love with a certain handsome athlete she’d go on to marry.
Monique is also famous for being the wife of Chris Samuels a former American college and professional football player who was an offensive tackle in the National Football League (NFL) for ten seasons. Monique Samuels is an American reality TV star who gained worldwide popularity after her appearance on ”Real Housewives of Potomac” (RHOP).

They dated for six years before they got married in 2012. Monique and Chris live in Potomac, Maryland with their three children, Christopher, Milani and Chase and an African Grey parrot named T’Challa.

The commissioner found probable cause in Dillard’s complaint, issuing a summons for Samuels to appear in court on Dec. 23. If a judge agrees there’s probable cause, Samuels can be arrested on the spot. A second-degree assault conviction would come with potential jail time.
