Dayana Oleksandrivna Yastremska is a Ukrainian professional tennis player who has a career-high ranking of world No. 21 by the Women’s Tennis Association (WTA).

Dayana Yastremska siblings: Meet sister Ivanna Yastremskyi

Dayana Yastremska was born on May 15, 2000, to Marina and Alexander Yastremsky in Odesa, the third-largest city in Ukraine.

Her father served on the Odesa City Council and was previously a volleyball player.

Her younger sister, Ivanna Yastremska, was born six years after her in 2006. Like her older sister, Ivanna is also a tennis player and is currently a junior tennis player.

Ivanna made her WTA main draw debut at the 2022 WTA Lyon Open in the doubles draw where she partnered with her sister Dayana.

During the 2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine, the sisters fled from Ukraine to France for safety. There, they sheltered in a hotel in Lyon.
