Biography:

Daniela Ruah was born on December 2, 1983 in Boston, Massachusetts, USA. At the age of 16, she made her acting debut, winning the role of Sara in the soap opera Jardins Proibidos (“Forbidden Gardens”).

She then moved to London at the age of 18, where she attended London Metropolitan University earning her Bachelor of Arts degree.

She moved to New York in 2007 to study acting at the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute. In 2009, she won the role of Kensi Blye in the television series NCIS: Los Angeles.
