Daniel Mulroy courageously and peacefully passed away on October 20, 2019 in Mobile, Alabama with his wife Mary (Laurence), all seven children, and many grandchildren by his bedside.

Born in Alton, Illinois on September 12, 1950, Dan was one of nine children to James Richard and Suzanne Mulroy.

As devoted Catholics, the love of Dan and Mary’s 47 years of marriage is lived out through their relationships with others.

Dan is survived by Mary and their children: Shannon (Liza), Maureen (Jeff), Kathleen (Joey), Jim, Rita (Cliff), Bridget, Danny (Lacey) and the fifteen (and counting) joyous grandchildren.

The family holds grateful love for the support of Dan’s extended family in Christ, found in the St. Pius X parish, St. Vincent de Paul Society, and the L’Arche Mobile community.

All services will be held at St. Pius X Catholic Church: beginning Wednesday October 23 with a rosary at 6:30 pm; Thursday October 24, Visitation starting at 9:30 a.m. followed by Mass at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be offered to the SVDP St. Pius Conference. Arrangements by Ascension Funeral Home, Mobile, AL.
