James Arthur Stuckey Sr Death, Native Of Kiblah, Arkansas
Mr. James Arthur Stuckey Sr. died on April 4, 2022, at the Hoyt Nursing & Rehab Center in Saginaw, Michigan. He was 92 years old. He was born in Kiblah, Arkansas, on April 17, 1929. He was the youngest of Nathaniel and Brimmer (Nard) Stuckey’s three children. On January 16, 1949, James married Ona, his childhood sweetheart, and wife of 58 years. On March 8, 2007, he died before him. He worked at General Motors for 34 years at the Chevrolet Grey Iron Foundry and was a member of UAW Local 668. James went to the Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church in Carrollton Township, Michigan, for a long time. The Pastor there now is Reverend Delwin C. Tatum. James liked being outside.
He was always happy to work on his garden and talk (or bark orders) about it. James loved spending time with his family, and every August, when the family got together, he was excited. James was happy to see his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren playing in his yard. James leaves behind loving memories for his five children, Prenella (Melvin) Nathan, Reverend James (Debra) Stuckey Jr., Patricia Hill, Dallas, Texas, Priscilla (Nathaniel) Cormier, and Jayson (Shaylett) Stuckey, Belleville, Michigan; his daughter-in-law, Buelah Stuckey; cousins who were more like a sister and brother, Cleo Henderson and His parents, wife, two sons, Joseph and Jonathan Stuckey, grandson, Melvin Nathan, brother, Nathaniel Stuckey, and sister, Syria Tyson, all died before Mr. Stuckey.
