Although multiple reports identified her as Claudia Iacono, the wife of one of the sons of deceased Calabrian Mafioso Moreno Gallo, the police have not officially confirmed her identity.

The incident occurred after multiple gunshots were reported to the police at around 4:30 pm on Tuesday.

Upon arrival, the police found the victim in her car with multiple gunshot wounds, and she was pronounced dead at the scene.

Preliminary information suggests that a lone suspect shot at the victim while she was in her vehicle before fleeing on foot.
