The world lost a huge Love Ambassador on 6/17/2023. Cindy Fasig Lowder gave from her heart to everyone she encountered. In her memory please show some extra Love in the world. We have a void to fill 😢❤️#LoveWillHeal2021 #LoveWillHeal #LoveOneAnother #SpreadTheLove#lovewillheal.org Cindy
I lost my best friend, my mom. She was always there to listen to me rant about work or ramble on about my latest project. I owe everything to her. When the VA had an opening and I couldn’t decide whether to apply or not, she told me it doesn’t hurt to apply and that I could always decline. I’ve used that advice numerous times in my career now. We’d spend every day discussing HR. She taught me so much. They’d joke at the VA that my mom ran the IRS HR the way I talked about her.
It felt like she knew everybody. Everywhere I’d be asked if I was Cindy’s kid. Everybody always wanted her at their table. She’d promise people the world and then tell us boys we had to make it happen. She loved to be involved, she could never just be a bystander. She was always there for you.
She always had so much to say, where I don’t. I wish I could match her larger-than-life personality. I’m going to miss her so much.
A simple post can’t describe how painful and shocking this loss is. The community is bewildered and grieving over the loss of our amazing friend, Cindy Fasig Lowder.
She was continually in service to her people and her organizations. She was always present and interested in others. If you wanted to get something done, you’d call Cindy because she would make it happen.
She was there for the banter and small talk, yet she was so easy to talk to about the big things, the hard things, the real-life nitty gritty, sad things.
Cindy’s love, sincere care, and easy laugh were felt and heard by many. May we all be a little more like her. Laugh a lot, give a lot, work hard, and be open and present to those around you.
I cherish the memories, yet I grieve to know we won’t get the opportunity to create more together. Fly with the angels, my beautiful friend.
Our heartfelt condolences go out to the deceased’s family and friends, who have been struggling with the loss of such an intelligent and compassionate individual.
