Casley Goodwill, who was 24 years old, departed unexpectedly in a way that no one could have ever predicted.

Her birth took place on October 5th, 1994 in the city of Bay City, and her parents, James and Carrie (Goodwill) Wonsey, were the ones to welcome her into the world.

At the time of our most recent talk, Courtney had just graduated from Dow High School in 2014 and was continuing her education at the Midland Community Center in one of their post-secondary programs.

Courtney was also predeceased by her father, Lincoln Warren.

There are many people who will miss her very much, including her grandma Susan (Curtis Dyer), a significant number of her aunts, uncles, and cousins, and others like them. Before Courtney was born, both her father, James L. Wonsey, Jr., and her grandfather, Wayne Goodwill, as well as her grandparents, James L. Wonsey Sr. and Ardith Wonsey, had already passed away.

Her grandmother, Ardith Wonsey, also passed away before she was born. A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, October 16, 2018, at 11:00 am, and Pastor Dean Willard will preside over the ceremony.

The Smith-Miner Funeral Home will be the location of the Memorial Service. Friends and family are invited to pay their respects at the funeral home on Tuesday, beginning at 10 a.m. and continuing until the start of the funeral service.

As an alternative to sending flowers, those who wish to express their sympathies are asked to consider making a contribution to the family in the name of Courtney to be given in her honor rather than sending flowers.
